IN THE SENATE OF THE UNITED STATES

Mr. Murphy (for himself, Mr. Van Hollen, Mr. Kaine, and Mr. Sanders) introduced the following joint resolution; which was read twice and referred to the Committee on Foreign Relations

JOINT RESOLUTION


That the following proposed foreign military sale to the Government of the United Arab Emirates is prohibited:

(1) - The sale of the following defense articles and services described in Transmittal No. 24–0Q, submitted to Congress pursuant to section 36(b)(5)(C) of the Arms Export Control Act (22 U.S.C. 2776(b)(5)(C)), and published in the Congressional Record on May 13, 2025: An extension of the previously notified Foreign Military Sales Order (FMSO) II for blanket order requisitions under a Cooperative Logistics Supply Support Agreement (CLSSA) for common spares/repair parts to support the United Arab Emirates' fleet of AH–64 Apache, UH–60 Black Hawk, and CH–47 Chinook aircraft, additional support, and other related elements of logistics and program support.
