1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the "Streamlining State Highway Safety Submissions Act".

2. Streamlining triennial highway safety plan submissions

Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall revise requirements applicable to highway safety programs under section 402 of title 23, United States Code, to allow the completion of a triennial management review conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to satisfy any information or documentation requirements relating to the submission of a triennial highway safety plan under subsection (k) of that section during the period covered by that triennial management review.
