This Act may be cited as the "Just Incarceration of Criminal Elements in D.C. Act" or the "JUSTICE in D.C. Act".
Section 3c of the Act entitled "An Act to establish a Board of Indeterminate Sentence and Parole for the District of Columbia and to determine its functions, and for other purposes", approved July 15, 1932 (sec. 24-403.03, D.C. Official Code), is amended to read as follows:
Beginning in fiscal year 2026, the Office of Victim Services and Justice Grants shall, on an annual basis, issue grants in an amount that is not more than $200,000 per grant per year to organizations that provide services to survivors of violent crimes, including advocacy, mental health, and employment services.
