This Act may be cited as the "Funding is Zero for Zero Nutrition Options (FIZZ-NO) Act of 2025".
2. Amendments
Section 3 of the Food and Nutrition Act of 2008 (7 U.S.C. 2012) is amended—
(1) - in subsection (k) by inserting "soda," after "alcoholic beverages,", and
(2) - by inserting after subsection (r) the following:
(r–1) - "Soda" means a carbonated beverage that contains more than 1 gram of added sugar, artificial sweetener, or flavoring per serving.
3. Effective date
This Act shall take effect 180 days after the date of the enactment of this Act.
