1. HOV facilities

(a) In general - Section 166(b)(5)(A) of title 23, United States Code, is amended by striking "September 30, 2025" and inserting "December 31, 2026".

(b) Study - Not later than 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Transportation shall submit to Congress a report that contains the results of a study on the effectiveness of electric vehicle exemptions in reducing traffic congestion.
