This Act may be cited as the "Department of War Restoration Act of 2025".
2. Redesignation of department of defense as department of war
(a) Department of war - The Department of Defense is hereby redesignated the Department of War.
(b) Secretary of war - The head of the Department of War, as redesignated by subsection (a), is the Secretary of War.
(c) References - Any reference to the Department of Defense or the Secretary of Defense in any law, rule regulation, certificate, directive, instruction, or other offi-cial paper in force on the date of enactment of this Act shall be considered to refer and apply to the Department of War and the Secretary of War, respectively.
