This Act may be cited as the "Healthy Lunch for Healthy Kids Act".

Section 9(a)(1)(A) of the Richard B. Russell National School Lunch Act is amended—

(1) - in clause (i), by striking "and" at the end;

(2) - in clause (ii), by striking the period at the end and inserting "; and"; and

(3) - by adding at the end the following:

(iii) - shall prohibit—

(I) - ultraprocessed foods (as described in group 4 of the NOVA classification system); and

(II) - foods containing—

(aa) - potassium bromate;

(bb) - propylparaben;

(cc) - titanium dioxide;

(dd) - brominated vegetable oil;

(ee) - yellow dye 5;

(ff) - yellow dye 6;

(gg) - blue dye 1;

(hh) - blue dye 2;

(ii) - green dye 3;

(jj) - red dye 3; or

(kk) - red dye 40.
