1. Short title

This Act may be cited as the "Protecting Kids from Fentanyl Act of 2025".


2. Use of preventive health and health services block grants to purchase life-saving opioid antagonists for schools and to provide related training and education to students and teachers

Section 1904(a)(1) of the Public Health Service Act (42 U.S.C. 300w–3(a)(1)) is amended—

(1) - by redesignating subparagraphs (F) and (G) as (I) and (J), respectively;

(2) - By inserting after subparagraph (E) the following:

(F) - Purchasing naloxone or other opioid antagonists for use in educational institutions.

(G) - Providing training to school nurses, teachers, school administrators, and school resource officers on how to administer naloxone or other opioid antagonists.

(H) - Providing fentanyl awareness classes or materials to students.

(3) - in each of subparagraphs (I) and (J), as redesignated by paragraph (1), by striking "(A) through (F)" and inserting "(A) through (H)".
